  • 2 Best Dressed Winners will be selected!

Best Draped Saree Competition

Showcase the timeless beauty of the saree and your draping style!

Important Information for Youth Festival Participants

The Youth Festival will be held in Kilimanjaro Rooms 8 and 9.

Registration and chest numbers will be provided in Kilimanjaro Room 8.

Please report promptly at 10:00 AM.

Friday Morning Schedule and Important Reminders

Good morning, everyone!

  • 🍳 Breakfast: 6:30 AM–8:00 AM
  • đź“‹ General Body Meeting: 8:00 AM–9:00 AM — All delegates must attend, and all members are requested to attend.
  • 🗳️ FOKANA election process: 9:30 AM–3:00 PM — Delegates must bring ID to vote.

Traditional Attire & Thalapoli Procession on Thursday

As we come together to celebrate our culture, traditions, and the spirit of togetherness at the FOKANA Kalahari Convention, we invite you to join us in adding to the festive atmosphere by dressing in traditional attire during some of our special events.

Day 1 — Inaugural Ceremony

Let’s begin the convention by showcasing the beauty and elegance of Kerala’s rich traditions.

Women

  • Settu Mundu or Kerala Saree / Settu Saree
  • Blouse: Shades of red or maroon are encouraged to create a beautiful and coordinated traditional look.

Men

  • Kasavu Mundu with a shirt or kurta
