FOKANA (Federation of Kerala Associations in North America) connects Kerala and Malayali associations across the United States and Canada.
Our story
Since 1983, FOKANA has worked to connect Malayalees across North America, preserve Kerala’s culture and heritage, and support community interests through a network of more than 100 member associations.
Its work spans cultural, community, youth, professional, health, and convention-related initiatives—creating opportunities for people to participate, serve, and lead.

Leadership and structure
FOKANA’s organizational structure includes an Executive Committee, Board of Trustees, National Committee, regional vice presidents, youth leaders, and additional committees serving the community.
